Full dome mirrors offer a full, 360-degree view of an area. Intended to hang by a pendulum chain (included) or mounted on the ceiling, these offer an all-around view of an area. These are great for use in warehouses, indoor garages, or other areas where there’s a lot of traffic and potenital for accidents.

The full dome mirrors feature here have a rigid acrylic lens and are available in sizes from 18 to 60 inches, and five backing types, no backing, hardboard backing, plastic backing, and galvanized steel backing. Due to mounting issues and weather hazards, it is not recommended to use dome mirrors outside.
However, we offer these mirrors with different mounting options based on specific user needs.
No Backing – Due to its lighter weight and lower cost, this is the most recommended backing type. If you are concerned with dust or debris getting into the dome, simply fill it with newspaper, or you can even place a piece of cardboard over it.
Hardboard Backing, Plastic Backing, and Galvanized Steel Backing
As mentioned above, we feel like having a backing type with a dome mirror is not mandatory, however, different backing choices are offered. For example, you may be in a hospital or in the food industry where cleanliness is much more important than in another area.
How Full Dome Mirrors Are Mounted

Full dome mirrors maybe mounted directly to the ceiling or wall or hung with the included pendulum chains if you want to suspend it from the ceiling. Dome mirrors without backings have holes around the flange, while mirrors with backings have a d-ring around the edge used for mounting.

Please note, due to the size of full dome mirrors, 36-inch and above sized mirrors will have to be shipped vial freight truck.
