These Safety Dome Mirrors are made from durable acrylic, which offers a 20% brighter image and is 14 times more impact resistant than glass. The hardboard backing protects the mirror lens and offers a good mounting structure. The hardboard backing is rated for indoor use and not recommended for outdoor usage.

The mirrors are available from 18 inches to 48 inches. The accepted rule of thumb for these mirrors is that you can see objects that many feed away for every inch in mirror size. For example, a 48-inch full dome mirror will offer a view up to 48 feet away, while an 18-inch mirror offers views of objects up to 18 feet away.
